This is hands down the best hot pot place I've been to in a while! It's usually hard to find great sauces that pair perfectly with hot pot, but here they nailed it. The price is super reasonable, especially for a party of four. We were all really happy with the variety of sauces and the unlimited dessert bar -- a great bonus! The service really stood out to me. They even gave us snacks while we waited in line, which was a nice touch. Everything was incredibly efficient, and whenever there was a small issue, they made sure to resolve it immediately. Honestly, the experience wouldn't have been the same without such amazing service. The place was also spotless, and they were quick to clear things off our table when we weren't using them. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Good food and great service. We were greeted at the door and walked to our table right away even during a busy lunch rush.

Spicy Very authentic spicy chinese hotpot For only those that are brave If not order the mushroom soup base still good but people will laugh at you Enjoy Super nice staff

Yummy for a hot pot craving. I will say the inside is small but I didn't mind much. The food was delicious, i didn't know there's one in my area so I will try the one in my area too! Service is ok it's kinda hard to flag someone down unless you speak mandarin. But other than that I enjoyed the food

Service is great. Everybody is so nice so friendly so welcoming , they tried to recommend us what to order which was very helpful. Meat, veggies, and food are all fresh , the ingredients are solid, and the snacks are abundant . I like the mushroom broth . Enjoyed some traditional Chinese options in this hotpot place.

My boyfriend and I first tried Shancheng Lameizi Hot Pot when we were in San Jose. We later discovered that they have chains in Southern California. We were in Irvine, so of course we had to try the location here! For our visit, we selected the pork bone broth and the mushroom broth. The pork bone wasn't very flavorful, so we ended up eating mainly from the mushroom broth side. All of the dishes are à la cart, which can get really expensive if you're not careful. Our average bill is around $125 - $150 before tax/tip, but that's because my guy has a healthy appetite. Tip: order a small amount first, then add more when we want more. They have a sauce bar where you make your own dipping sauces. There's also a variety of snacks and desserts where you can eat as much as you want. We really enjoyed the food here and the service was friendly too. The restaurant is also nicely decorated and clean.

One of our best unplanned decisions ever. We were looking for a place for dinner on a Sunday night and when we called to check for wait times, this restaurant said they had no wait time at the moment, so we ran in immediately. Right when we entered, all the servers greeted us and gave off a super friendly vibe. We sent in our orders and went to the bathroom to wash our hands for the meal. The way to, in, and from the bathroom were all an experience on their own. Going to the bathroom, you can see a sauce station for you to mix your own, as well as snacks and appetizers to prep for the meal. In the bathroom, they have a section for make up wipes, hair brush, and anything to help refresh yourself. As you exit the bathroom, there's a table with hair ties, mints, and more to help your dining experience. We chose a bone broth and spicy broth. I forget this place is Szechuan styled, so the spicy broth was too numbing for my taste, that was my fault. The bone broth though, was so good. I recommend getting the bone broth. The spicy sauce was mild already and super flavorful but I couldn't handle it unfortunately. I don't remember the meats we chose as we kept ordering to our hearts' content, but they were very marbled and very soft to chew on. We pretty much got beef tongue and the beef and lamb combo along with other things. The noodles are to die for and must be ordered. This place was great for dinner, and if you're looking for an experience, this one should be on your list.

Husband and I ordered the 9 section spicy hot pot in medium(?), it was quite spicy but extremely flavorful. Fresh beef, angus prime beef, hot pot noodles, the fish cakes with roe on it with "fortune" in Chinese on it, vermicelli noodles-- they were all good to eat in the deliciously spicy hot pot. We over-ordered and the wait staff gave us to-go containers. I am eating the leftover as I type in this review a day later. My stomach suffered a little I won't lie, but I can't wait to go back. Love it. The sauce/snack station is loaded. If they had fresh fruits that would be awesome. No other complaints.

I loved: Snowflake Beef Tongue I liked: Fatty Beef Belly Angus Beef Ribeye Very expensive but an authentic experience to China. Everyone speaks mandarin here by default, there's an unlimited snack and sauces bar, and they have a place to put your clothes away so they don't smell. I really liked the taste of everything, and they have containers for you to take the soup back home. I literally felt like I had been transported back to China, you can tell cuz they're open 365 days a year lmao.
